Dr. Kruse is a structural geologist specializing in structural controls on mineralization, from prospect to belt scale. His PhD dissertation focused on polyphase deformation and tectonic evolution in the Canadian Cordillera. Based on this work he was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Gold Medal award and GAC Structure and Tectonics division Best PhD award. Additionally, Dr. Kruse is a former lecturer and current Honorary Research Associate at the University of New Brunswick. Dr. Kruse is a registered professional geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) and the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL)

Yves Usereau, CPA, CA

Yves Usereau has an extensive career spanning several decades most recently in the analytical and financial side of the natural resource sector. Yves has worked with KPMG, RCGT and Arthur Anderson focusing on tax advice to HNWI, including a former Prime Minister of Canada, Mayor of Montreal, Presidents & VP’s of national companies and banks. Yves has taught at HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) in investment and personal finance and CQFF (Centre Quebecois de Formation en Fiscalite). Yves started his newsletter (Lettre FinFisc) in 2010 and has made over 100 presentations on Television. Yves writing’s and presentations focus on the cycles of markets, resources cycles and gold stocks. Yves has spoken at many Resource conferences as an expert in the resource market. Yves has a passion for the markets with an expertise in technical and fundamental analysis.
